The Chaos and the Beauty

What I find so terribly beautiful about crashing emotionally and spiritually speaking is the promise of starting anew.

It’s terrible to feel that low, humiliated, crushed and hopeless. You are surrounded by the emotional wreckage of your life or buried underneath it; it’s heavy and heart crushing; you feel completely immobilized on every front.

But if you are thinking and feeling as painful as it may seem, you are alive and likewise is the possibility of your very own genesis; a major clean-up, rejuvenation, renewal or redemption; perhaps even a re-birth of some sort; a powerful twist towards the upside.

God created the world out of a massive darkness and void; absolute nothingness; through a perfect love and desire he created us, the world: YOU.

The power to create and recreate over and over again is part of our spiritual DNA; it’s within us and within our reach and use.

You are powerful beyond measure…

Ground Zero is your Genesis

The most important genesis and beginning since times immemorial came out of sheer negation and emptiness. From it rose beings with the highest potential possible; beings made in the image of God; filled with his purpose, love and meaning; with an indelible mark and spark of ultimate greatness and magnificence; Genesis 1: 28; 31:

“And God blessed them, and God said to them; “be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth”. And God saw everything that he made, and behold, it was very good.”

It was from the absolute 0 mark that we were given the privilege and power to be heroes in and through the majesty and will of God.

The darkness of our personal ground zeros can potentially be fertile grounds for the emergence of jaw-dropping works of creation or re-creation; start-ups and turnarounds; a genesis of genius ingenuity and/or liberating redemption: Whatever.

The Gift of Grace and Growth

The point is grace as such is a gift. It’s forward looking; never mind the past voids and returns to darkness and despair. You have now. You either start anew from the point of collapse and harness the greatness of God within you for your benefit and God’s honor or you don’t. You either wipe your pants down once again and inch-crawl or stumble forward or you don’t. And the latter is a waste of God-given charity and favor. Period.

It’s our choice and decision and only ours. Grace and the incoming genesis’ of our lives are boons we accept or negate; pain may be inevitable with regards to what we choose and how we respond. But and however and from my experience, the pain and discomfort associated with acceptance and the fearlessness to start anew is temporary and paramount to unprecedented character growth.

Power-up and Behold Your Greatness

1 Peter 1:13-15 says “therefore gird up your minds, be sober, set your hope fully upon the grace that is coming to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ”. God the father almighty, creator of heaven and earth is anticipating your response; his grace is coming; change is in the making; opportunity and potential is being heaven sent to the door of your mind, body and soul. It’s time to contemplate or find the strength to get up, get on, emerge and awaken from the mess of our lives; your turn around, the genesis of an improved, greater you and life is fully present and pending your full embrace.

May you take it all in and “behold” God’s goodness meant for you and your life.
