I’m watching my girls play with the little cars you can ride around in from the Church Nursery.
For Ms. Drama that consists of getting into first the fire truck and then the car and yelling for it to go. Not realizing that she has to help it along a bit with her feet, she just gets more frustrated watching her sister ride around successfully.
Ms. Action is busy bundling a doll into a play car-seat and struggles to carry both it and the huge purse that she has selected to her car. While hiking the purse over her shoulder once more, the baby doll slips out of the baby carrier and drops to the floor.
Happily oblivious the little mommy continues talking to herself and shoving the gigantic purse into the car. After jamming herself in next to the purse she pulls the little car-seat onto her lap and shuts the car door. It’s a tight fit.
Suddenly she realizes the car-seat is empty. “Oh! The baby is all gone!” she says in dismay. Looking around she sees her baby lying on the ground near-bye. I can see the wheels turning in her head as she thinks for a moment.
Then she remarks matter-of-factly “Well. I leaving now.” And after tossing the car-seat out of the car as well, she drives away.
To be fair she did come back for the baby after driving around the room, but she gave up on the car-seat.
