Pisces New Moon 2013

Here is the chart for tomorrow’s amazingly watery New Moon. An astonishing line-up of planets in Pisces. From left to right at the top of the chart below it goes Mars, Sun, Moon, Venus, Chiron, Mercury and Neptune, all in Pisces. With Mars about to leave and heading for the conjunction with Uranus (but that’s the developing Aries story, more on that next week!).

If you know which house Pisces occupies in your chart then this is the area of life that is really lit up this month. You’ll see that the New Moon is exact at 21 degrees, so if that aspects anything in your chart you will feel this lunation especially powerfully, maybe setting off a whole new chapter in your life.

If you can, take a few minutes at the time of the New Moon to light a candle, say your prayers, and set your highest intentions for the Pisces areas of your life.

For all of us, this Pisces New Moon conjunct Venus and trine the North Node and (loosely) Saturn, suggests a time in which we get closer to our deep feelings, perhaps find resolution in relationships, and if we use our imaginations, can find solutions to knotty karmic problems. It can be hard to focus when there is so much going on in Pisces and with Mercury retrograde, so cut yourself and others some slack and take extra care with details. It is a great time for inspiration and for dreams coming true but remember to keep your feet on the ground.
