Three Quick Takes

One

Elphine is making oatmeal and for some reason, known only to herself, decided not to really cook it, but to mush it around and serve it up, and so has had to put it all back in the pot, because everyone is screaming and crying. Did I really have to say, after telling her everything else, that she had to cook it long enough so that it would look and taste like regular oatmeal? Is that a thing? Where I have to say every. little. tiny. step? On the other hand, I shouldn't complain because she's making breakfast and not me.

Two

I'm totally about to have another go around on my talk. After I just do this and then go change over laundry and then I should probably run the vaccuum, and you know, this would probably be a good day for the children to take a bath, and there's some school………
