Saturday on the Anglican and iTunes Links

Saturday on the Anglican and iTunes Links April 9, 2016

Figured out iTunes! Well, I didn’t. Somebody who possesses true knowledge did. Later this afternoon The Preventing Grace Podcast will be up there. Already sermons and classes from Good Shepherd are back in that important space. I’ll update the podcast iTunes link when I get it. [Update: And here it is.] For now, here it is in the more ancient and less cool way. This week we talked about the Anglican Trouble.

In the course of roiling about what happened in the Anglican Teacup this week we mentioned this excellent article by Phil Ashey, and also the ABC’s talk to the ACC.

Leaving all that quickly behind, and to cleanse the palate here is a friend who is doing some lovely Catechesis in her own home for her own child. The materials she made are gorgeous and so is how it’s playing out in her own life.

And here is Pepper in Transition again being both insightful and sticking it to feminism.

And here is a new fine blogger whose life I have managed to make sadder and more angsty. You should read him not only because he linked me, but because he’s a top notch writer and funny.

No food this week. Not only did I not read about food, I failed to make delicious food such as anybody’s soul loves. It was a pretty dismal week on that score. And then Matt wrecked everything by making chocolate chip cookies, so now the children love him more than me.

And now I will arise and go over and see about a funeral, because today is a pretty sad day for Church of the Good Shepherd. May yours be better and happier.
