Resolutions and a Prediction

Resolutions and a Prediction December 31, 2016

Yesterday I noted the seven most wonderful things that have happened to Me Me Me in 2016, so now it’s time to turn my attention to how I’m going to improve and better myself in 2017. It’s going to be great. I’ll be a new me, just like I am today, only Better.

So, in 2017 I’m going to
Read all the books. All of them.
Only eat healthy food and never overindulge myself ever.
Do all the exercises.
Become an awesome mother.
Develop audacious prayer warrior faith.
Never complain about anything ever again.
Write all the books.
Buy and Perfectly Use The Perfect Planner.
Become Awesome At Email.
Become a Much Better Person.

It’s going to be great. I might have to start the perfect healthy eating later in the week though, because I’ve looked at our New Year’s Day menu and so I probably can’t that day, what with the really nice roast and the Yorkshire pudding. Also, I’ll probably do All The Working Out maybe the next week? I’m not sure, I’m going to have to fit it in.
But I’m totally going to be reading all the books like in about five minutes. I mean, I know I can’t read even one sentence now without being interrupted or falling asleep or becoming distracted by all the screaming, but that’s all going to change tomorrow because tomorrow is a Magical Day, a fresh, clean, brand new shiny day.

I am a great believer in realistic expectations so I think this is going to be a great year all the way around. What with a fantastic new president, and a calm, sane world, and theologically strong united church ready to face the issues of the Day, it’s going to be great.

Happy New Year!
