Good Morning. It is a gray day here, and chilly, which means that I am not unhappy about the dog that is pressing himself onto my icy feet. I guess I will have to get up and face reality at some point, but before that, here is a longish podcast in which we answer an excellent question from our listener, about whether the debates about abortion are a distraction from fighting racism. Matt takes the opportunity to remind us that everyone is literally Hitler, and works through both the Scripture and the Church Fathers to prove he is right. I snark around the edges and try to drag myself into consciousness. Unfortunately, my voice is still much louder than Matt’s. We are still trying to figure out the volume thingy. I’m sure it will be just the thing you need for another totally insane week.
Let’s see, I don’t have a ton of links because I spent most of the week reading books. I’m reading Marriage in the Middle (so good), still, and Another Gospel (so good), and The Coddling of the American Mind (so interesting), and listening to Companions in Suffering (so good), and Eustace Diamonds (so stressful). I know I should go find all those links, but I’m sure you can google, they’re all right there on Amazon and other places.
