Shiny New Saturday on the Links

Just a few links for this first Saturday of the year.

First up, here’s Matt laying out what’s at stake in the upcoming Anglican Primates meeting. Prayer would be much appreciated for all those gathering.

And here is a wonderfully fierce response to the talk at Urbana that caused so much hue and cry this week. If you’re casting about looking for hope, as I always am, you can be comforted not only by this post, but that this young lady is in my Sunday school class with me ever week, putting her money where her mouth is, proclaiming the gospel to the littlest in the kingdom.

And this wins the award for funniest post of the day, if I were in the business of dispensing awards. Laughed all the way through.

I am totally going to start my diet tomorrow, or Monday, and clean and stuff. Today, though, I’ll probably have to spend a few minutes finishing off the apple cake, and maybe the Beef Wellington, for the children, for the world. Have a lovely day if you like that sort of thing.
