Pro-Trump Terrorist Trampled To Death In U.S. Capitol Was Carrying ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ Flag January 8, 2021

Irony: Rosanne Boyland, one of the pro-Trump terrorists who stormed the U.S. Capitol was trampled to death while carrying the iconic “Don’t Tread On Me” Gadsden flag.

Raw Story reports:

A woman who was reportedly trampled to death during a riot inside the U.S. Capitol was reportedly obsessed with the QAnon conspiracy theory, according to her friends and family. A photo shows that she carried a Gadsden “don’t tread on me” flag at a protest before the violent siege.

Rosanne Boyland, 34, was among four of President Donald Trump’s supporters who died Wednesday inside the Capitol after breaking inside to disrupt the congressional certification of Joe Biden’s win, and her family blames the president she fervently backed, reported WGCL-TV.

Boyland was knocked to the ground and crushed as crowds breached the Capitol, according to Axios, and suffered a fatal medical emergency.

New York Post reports:

Rosanne Boyland, of Kennesaw, Ga., died as the mob stormed the Capitol building, squaring off with police Wednesday.

The friend she was with, Justin Winchell, recalled her final moments as protesters began falling over one another.

“I put my arm underneath her and was pulling her out and then another guy fell on top of her, and another guy was just walking [on top of her],” Winchell told CBS46. “There were people stacked two, three deep … people just crushed.”

He said the clash “basically created a panic, and the police in turn push[ed] back on them, so people started falling.”

Paramedics tried to revive Boyland, 34, but she died.

Commenting on the story, Justin Cave, Boylan’s brother-in-law, said:

She (Rosanne) was a wonderful sister, daughter, and aunt. Anyone who knew her knows how compassionate she was, she always put others before herself. As we watched these awful events unfold we hoped that Rosanne was not among the crowd. Tragically she was there and it cost her life. We have little information at this time and we are waiting with the rest of the world to uncover the specifics.

He added:

Our family is grieving on every level for our country, for all the families that have lost loved ones or suffered injuries, for our own loss. Rosanne was really passionate about her beliefs like a lot of people. I’ve never tried to be a political person but it’s my own personal belief that the president’s words incited a riot that killed four of his biggest fans last night and I believe that we should invoke the 25th amendment at this time.

He’s right. Rosanne Boyland lost her life while participating in a terrorist action incited by Trump. Her death, like the terrorist action itself, stands as a monument to the profound cruelty and ignorance of Trump and his followers.

Sad!

Bottom line: Rosanne Boyland, one of the pro-Trump terrorists who stormed the U.S. Capitol was trampled to death while carrying the iconic “Don’t Tread On Me” Gadsden flag.
