Mama is Home.

Mama is Home. April 27, 2020

My dear readers,

My mother died last week. I’m posting the communications I posted on my Facebook page to bring you up to speed. Blessings and love to each of you.

April 22. Friends, I talked to my mother on FaceTime today, and she looked so much worse. The nurse just called me and said Mama is “winding down.” If she’s still here, I think they are going to let me in to see her tomorrow. I’ve been hermetically sealed by my family. There’s no way I have the virus and could infect anyone. Would you send up prayer for her?

April 24. Thank you for your prayers. I looked at your messages many times in the past couple of days. It comforted me. Mama died last night at 11:30. I couldn’t sleep all the rest of the night and I have a lot to do today. I’m tired and grieved. Would you please continue your prayers? Thank you my friends.

April 27. Mama’s funeral will be at St James Catholic Church this Wednesday, April 29, at 11 am. Because of COVID-19, only immediate family will be able to attend. Her body will be available for viewing, beginning at 5pm today, Monday April 27, at John Ireland Funeral Home 120 South Broadway, Moore, OK. Again, because of COVID-19, there will not be a formal viewing. It will just be come and go on an individual basis. COVID-19 prevents us from having a Rosary for her. If you would pray a Rosary for her yourselves, I would be so grateful. I have read your comments many times. They are so beautiful and comforting. Thank you my dear friends.
