This is from four years ago. The Holy Father visited what here in America we call a nursing home. He is giving an example for all bishops, as well as you and meet. When was the last time your bishop did something like this? When was the last time you did it?
Caring for the sick is one of the things that Jesus specifically said we would be judged for when we die. In fact, He said — and He was explicit — that those who did not do these things would be told “Depart from me, I never knew you,” no matter how active they were in church or how loud they had been about proclaiming their faith.
