Trump has totally changed my mind about the confirmation of a new justice for the Supreme Court.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that he’s planning to throw out ballots to keep himself in office. To do this, he needs the active participation in what is not just election fraud but a coup on the part of Republican elected officials in battleground states.
It also doesn’t take a lot of thinking to understand that he plans to use the Supreme Court to stop the counting of ballots and challenges to the election because of his fraud and declare him the winner.
If the Supreme Court is part of his plan to destroy our democracy by refusing to leave office, then that makes this big push to confirm a justice part of that plan. It puts the entire Republican Senate in the crosshairs for conspiracy to commit treason.
Nope.

We should wait until after the election to confirm a new justice. Every senator who votes to do it before the election is suspect of conspiracy to commit treason.
