I’m going to start posting sets of headlines on a frequent basis.
I told a friend when Trump won last November that he and his billionaire buddies were going to slit America open from throat to pubes and clean us out like a hunter field dressing a gut shot deer. My friend thought I was engaging in hyperbole.
But I was right. The chainsaw Elon brandished at CPAC is a fitting metaphor for what they’re doing to our country. Eliminating “waste” has nothing to do with it.
Meanwhile, Trump has cut ties with our allies, and launched an economic attack on them that Warren Buffet described yesterday as “an act of war.” Buffet also said the tariffs Trump has enacted are a “tax” increase on ordinary American people.
There’s too much destruction, corruption, cruelty and cowardice to comment on each act individually. The mainstream news media is too afraid of Trump to report honestly. They “normalize” and “sane wash” what are in fact atrocities. So, I’m going to begin giving you frequent lists of headlines with quick summaries.
The purpose of this blog has always been been to offer the things I’ve learned from 18 years in elective office as a help for Christians in living out their faith in this democracy. That has changed somewhat simply because the country we have all lived in all our lives is being destroyed from within, and many of our faith leaders are in the back pocket of the destroyers.
I’m going to do my best to provide what insight I can as we go forward. Just remember one thing: Jesus Christ IS Lord. Follow Him, and there is nothing anyone in this world can do to you that really matters. Because we are eternal beings whose ultimate destiny is to stand before the throne of God.

The corruption and raiding of America’s treasury continues. Charges are dropped against a Chinese billionaire after Trump receives what looks like a $30 million dollar bribe. The FAA is forced to ashcan an on-going $2.4 billion contract with Verizon and switch to Elon Musk’s Star Link. The FAA is now scrambling to find the $$ to pay him. And, just for laughs, how did Elon get to be so rich in the first place? Pork barrel for the rich plays a huge role in Elon’s wealth.

Trump enacted massive tariffs on Canada and Mexico, as well as raising the tariffs on China. He claims that he’s doing it to stop fentanyl from coming into America. All I can say is that if you believe that, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn I can sell you. This is about raising $$ to pay for a massive tax cuts for billionaires. Trump has said so himself in any number of public speeches.
