Trump Border Czar: Bishops wrong. Catholic Church a “Mess.”

Well that didn’t take long.

America’s bishops passed a unanimous statement calling for the just treatment of immigrants. They also released this video.

Two days later, Tom Homan, Trump’s “border czar,” yapped back. In predictable Trump Regime fashion, Homan made grandiose and false statements about the work he is doing and attacked his critics — in this instance, the Catholic Church. 

Homan said that he was “saving lives.” That’s not true. People have died in his concentration camps. People have been viciously attacked by ICE agents. Who knows how many people have died in the third world prisons the Trump regime has shipped them to. ICE is also attacking and disappearing American citizens, as well as immigrants. 

One of the many unpleasant things I have come to believe about the Trump regime is that they don’t care what they do to any of us. If you doubt that, look at the cost of your health insurance premiums. The Trump regime was willing to bring the whole country down to its knees in order to raise your health care premiums and kick Americans off Medicaid. 

They fought so hard, you’d have thought they were fighting to give Trump a free jet, or maybe, cover up whatever it is that scares Trump soooo much  about the Epstein Files. 

So, I regard Homan’s statement that he’s “saving lives” as just more of the smoke that the Mad King’s Regime keeps blowing up our skirts.

Homan finished up his comments by saying that instead of bothering “devout Catholics” like him, the bishops should spend their time “fixing the Catholic Church” which, he claims, “is a mess.” 

Homan’s statement is predictable Trumpian blather. The Trump regime is a bunch of two bit bullies, all of them. They also appear to be a regime of crooks. 

Homan was recently caught on FBI video accepting a $50,000 bribe from undercover agents. You can read the whole government document outlining Homan’s alleged bribe-taking here. Homan, of course, denies this. And the Trump regimes backs him. JD Vance lied and tap danced so much defending Homan that his lying and tap dancing became the story. 

Trump’s “justice department” deep-sixed the investigation. I don’t know if they’ve fired the agents who caught their “border czar” or not, but I wouldn’t be surprised. 

All this is to say that this behavior is just the kind of stuff we have to expect from these people. 

The only thing it means is that we made a hig mistake in November of 2024.
