My sister died a few days ago. She suffered greatly for months.
I still don’t feel like writing blog posts, but I do have a brief comment I want to make.
I have had cancer. I wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone, including Donald J Trump and his whole indecent posse of cruel, bottom-dwelling thugs.
I remember when Trump made fun of a disabled man by mocking him, and his crowd of MAGA cheered. I have heard my self-righteous fellow Catholic MAGA deny he did this for years, even when you show them the video of him doing it.
I remember when he mocked a woman who had had a double mastectomy due to breast cancer, saying she was “too flat chested.”
I remember when Nancy Pelosi’s 80 year-old-husband was attacked by one of Trump’s followers with a hammer and grievously wounded. I remember how the whole sick MAGA crowd mocked him and made all manner of salacious jokes while he lay in the hospital ICU, battling for his life.
My husband buried his best friend from childhood a couple of years ago. He was killed by an aggressive cancer that had spread to his organs and bones before it was discovered. They’d taken a trip together a few weeks before the cancer was discovered and his friend had had no idea anything was wrong with him.
I have a family member who is undergoing treatment for Glioblastoma. He has been told he probably has six months to a year to live.
He had no idea he was even sick until he got up to get ready for work one morning and had the first symptoms. He went to a chiropractor because he didn’t think it was anything serious. By the end of the day, he knew he was dying.
Former President Joe Biden announced a few days ago that he has an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which is a fate that hangs over every man, including cruel, indecent MAGA men like Trump.
Within hours, Trump’s posse, including one of his sons and one of Oklahoma’s Republican United States Senators were whipping up a bunch of lies and smears about this diagnosis.
Trump made a statement that was something like what you would expect from a normal human being at first. But the next day he was doing his usual lying and attacking and piling on the filth and smears, trying to drag Joe Biden through the slime because he has cancer.
I’m not going to waste a lot of verbiage on this. People who behave like this are heartless scum.
They have no honor. They have no morals. They have no decency. They have no compassion. They have no honesty. They have no integrity.
They are heartless, lying, jackals who do not care who they hurt or how much harm they do, so long as they think it will benefit them. They aren’t fit to be in the same room with decent people.
We have elected the biggest bunch of trash to office that it is possible to imagine.
If you think making fun of disabled people, mocking innocent victims of violent crime and kicking someone when they are diagnosed with a dread disease like cancer is ok, then please, go away from me. I don’t want to be around you.
