Pope Leo’s prayer intention for November is really a call for conversion to people of faith the world over.

The Holy Father is asking us to pray for “collaboration” between and among the world’s religions that we may “work together for peace, justice and fraternity.”

It is a sad fact that many faith leaders of the different religions waste their own lives and destroy the lives of others by working for the exact opposite of peace, justice and fraternity. There are many hideous examples of brutality, oppression and murder in the name of a particular faith all around the world.

I don’t know enough about other faiths to say this in regard to their faithful’s behavior, but I know without doubt that Christians who do this are not following Christ. They are, in fact, doing the exact opposite of what Jesus told us to do. They are following Satan and adding blasphemy to their sins by claiming that their sins are what Jesus wants.

The right wing MAGA version of Christianity that is working hand in glove with the people who are destroying America is in fact not Christianity at all. It is idolatrous worship of the false gods of money, power and a morally degenerate old man.

Instead of working for peace, MAGA religious leaders back putting troops in our cities and using them to support ICE agents’ violent attacks on civilians.

Instead of working for justice, they support taking bribes, an endless babble of blatant lies, rapists and pedophiles in high office, and grabbing people off the streets in violent assaults without warrants, charges or even knowing for sure who is being grabbed.

They teach that incarcerating random people who were seized off the streets like prey taken down by predators on a hunt is somehow or other a “christian” act. They back holding people without charging them with a crime. They support denying these people who have been snatched off the streets access to attorneys and denying them the right to contact families and friends to let them know where they are. People can literally disappear and their families have no way of knowing what has happened to them, or where they are.

MAGA “christian” religious leaders support all of this. They actively teach that supporting the Mad King and his homicidal billionaire’s boy club is the same thing as following Christ. They have brain-washed their followers so thoroughly that many of these people — I know some of them — believe that you can’t be a Christian if you don’t blindly support Trump.

Instead of supporting fraternity, MAGA “christian” clergy work to keep their flocks constantly enraged as a method of controlling them. They deliberately incite hatred and outrage by constantly preaching on the sins of other people who are not part of their group, and refusing to apply the clear teachings of the 10 Commandments and the Gospels to themselves, or their flocks.

They add to this sinful behavior by openly teaching that the 10 Commandments and the Gospels do not apply to right wing Republicans, the Mad King, right wing billionaires or the MAGA clergy themselves.

Instead of supporting and building fraternity, MAGA “christian” clergy teach people to hate and abuse other people. And they add blasphemy to this stinking pile of sin by claiming that Jesus requires us to hate in His Name.

Pope Leo’s prayer intention for this month calls us to pray for an end to all that by asking us to pray for collaboration among the various religions in the work of building peace, justice and fraternity throughout the world.

Americans today are standing on the tip of needle. We can lose it all.

The antidote to the evil besetting us is clear. It is the Cross and the Empty Tomb.

Yesterday was All Souls Day. That is the empty tomb. Today, we face the Mad King and his regime of anti-christ enablers, including MAGA clergy. That is our Cross.

The antidote to evil is always the same: Follow Christ. Obey the 10 Commandments and the Gospels. And pray with Pope Leo that religious leaders the world over will work together for peace, justice and the brother and sisterhood of all the people God made.
