Evidently, Trump has decided that he’s going to take the use of military force off the table where Greenland is concerned … for today.
Now, he says he wants to “negotiate” a settlement. If he’s talking about an agreement that Norway freely enters into for America to buy Greenland’s resources for a fair price, all I have to say is he could have done from day one.
However, if he’s talking about one of his shows where he comes out and struts around and threatens and bangs his shoe on the table like Nikita Khrushchev in an attempt to to force Norway into handing Greenland over to America, I am totally against it. I’ve really had it with Trump and his crude bullying.

America is not a thug. Or, at least it wasn’t until we elected a thug for our president.
America has always had the ability to work out a plan for us to buy Greenland’s resources.
This destruction of the trust the world has in America was totally unnecessary by any measure of necessity that exists. This was all caused by one sick, evil, cruel old tyrant.
As for Greenland, every nation in NATO is our ally, and until we elected this amoral degenerate lunatic, they trusted us implicitly.
I. Am. Tired. Of. This. Evil. Mental. Case. and the hysteria he creates.
I’m tired of his lies.
I’m tired of his threats.
I’m tired of his bullying.
I’m tired of his sick evil.
I’m tired of his cruelty.
But I am also grateful for a few things. Warren Buffet has said that when the market crashes, we find out who’s swimming naked. In the same way, when America elects an evil moral degenerate, we find out who’s really a follower of Christ, and who’s a patriot.
I am grateful to learn that, while we do have Catholic bishops and priests who are up to their earlobes in the satanic evil of Trumpism, we have others who will take a public stand against unjust war and wanton violence.
It turns out that the much-maligned mainline Protestants are the real heroes of this fight. For decades, the mainline Protestant denominations have been the butt of hateful rhetoric for being too mild, too tolerant, too namby pamby in their faith.
Ironically, the church leaders who have leveled these criticisms are the very ones who’ve stuck their followers’ heads straight up Trump’s read end. They love to talk about satan, but when satan sends his newest apostle, they kneel down in front of him.
They call Trump “god’s anointed.” They teach and preach that following Trump is the same thing as following Christ. In some sort of unholy, evil and twisted way, Trump has become their Eucharist.
We’ve also found out who loves this country, and it isn’t the billionaires this country has made so rich, and it isn’t the heads of corporations and institutions. It’s for sure not Republican members of Congress.
It’s you and me. It’s ordinary, courageous and honest Americans who believe that standing for Jesus, for morality and integrity, and for America is worth anything. We’re the patriots and we’re the true followers of Jesus Christ. It’s the Resisters who are out in the streets, standing up to Trump’s ICE
The Resisters are Americans. They are absolutely capable of fighting back. But they have chosen the non-violent way. They are putting their bodies out there to be tear-gassed, pepper-sprayed, beaten, illegally arrested, maimed and murdered for the least of these and for our democracy.
I am grateful to the true followers of Christ who are resisting this evil. I am grateful to the American patriots who are facing the evil and violence of Trump’s over-funded Gestapo, which is what he has turned ICE into.
I’m glad Trump says he’s taken a military invasion of Greenland off the table — for today. Nobody knows what he’s going to do tomorrow, including him.
I’m sick of waking up every day to some fresh hell served up by this twisted, evil, old fool.
We made a mistake when we elected Trump. We need to undo that mistake.
