I have the greatest love and appreciation for Brett and Alex Harris, who back when they were teenagers, wrote the excellent book Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations. I keep in touch with Brett and Alex, and both of them have continued to serve Christ through the lives and platforms He has given them. I love these two young men, and their wonderful wives. Brett is the co-founder and CEO of the Author Conservatory, a college alternative for writers. I watched a powerful message he gave to their 2025 graduating class. Brett says, “This message is such a big part of my heart, and I would love to see it reach more people who need it.” These nine minutes are well worth your time:
