Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome on The Sitting Room Radio

Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome on The Sitting Room Radio

A couple months ago, I had the privilege of talking with Kathy Chiero on The Sitting Room; a radio show that is– a place of no judgement; a place where mistakes, healing, and …restoration are accepted as the reality of life and part of God’s plan. Unconventional Christianity in a refreshing hour of talk, laughter, and honesty.

In the interview I share my story as Kathy Chiero put it – “as an insider who came out.” I share how I was told that I had to buy it all or I wasn’t allowed to have any of it.  (It being God, Jesus, Church, Christianity)  I divulge how I felt that I had to walk away because I was told it was better to be hot or cold but not look warm.  I tell the story of being in a spiritual desert wondering “Who am I without Christ?” and how when I walked away, I lost everything.

I invite you to listen here.
