THE #AMERICAISKIND CHALLENGE: DAY ONE
Today’s theme is Education, and we are raising awareness for DonorsChoose.org, an incredible charity that matches donors with classroom projects. DonorsChoose: “Support a classroom. Build a future.”
To take the #AmericaIsKind challenge, simply:
-FEEL GRATITUDE
-DO GOOD
– SPREAD KINDNESS by challenging 3-5 friends on social media to take the #AmericaIsKind Challenge.
Remember to use the hashtags #AmericaIsKind and #GratefulToGood so we can see the wildfire of kindness spread!
****
Today’s Suggested Gratitude:
“I am grateful to be able to reach this sentence, and for all the teachers who contributed to my education”.
Today’s suggested Acts of Good:
Good: Write a letter, email, text or online note of thanks to a former teacher. Tell them how they impacted your life.
Good: Share a story on social media about a teacher who helped you. (Tag the teacher if you can find them on social media!)
Good: Tag all the teachers you know with three reasons you are thankful for their work.
Good: Volunteer at your local school to tutor a student or adult who is learning to read.
Good: Check out the #AmericaIsKind Charity of the Day, DonorsChoose at www.DonorsChoose.org and consider sponsoring a classroom project:
Started by a high school teacher, DonorsChoose matches teachers all over the U.S. with donors who can help bring classroom needs and dreams to life. You can choose a project that inspires you and give any amount to help a deserving teacher and their students!
