3 1/2 Time Outs – The Things #5 Says

#5, who is 5 years old, is our constant entertainment.  He is often insightful and often witty.  I can’t wait to hear what he’s going to say next.  Stuff like:
1.
“Jesus is my favorite super hero.  He has the power of turning himself into food.”

2.
Me: I need for you to draw a picture of your family for school.
#5: Here’s a picture of your head.
Me: That’s fabulous.  Can I have a body too?
##5: No, I think I’m going to draw you with clothes instead.

3.
Me: Look at this row of pictures.  Which one doesn’t belong? There’s a dog, doghouse, dog bone, dog dish, and a pear.
#5: The dog.
Me: You’re sure it’s the dog?  Dog dish, Dog house, Dog bone, Dog dish, and a pear
#5: Yup.  It’s the dog.  The others don’t have tails.
