3.5 Time Outs – Completely Random with an Update

Ever have something make sense in your head and total and complete sense when you explain it out loud and then not at all when you write it?  Happened to me yesterday.  I took it down to retool an rewrite.  Thank goodness blogs come with a do-over button.

I’m working like a mad woman on my book. I don’t know that I’ve ever been this focused on anything in my life, and that’s a little weird.  I wrote 16,000+ words last week  (for those of you who don’t write 40,000 words is around 150 pages, which means I wrote a third of a book in a week) and that’s huge!  I’m just praying that I can maintain a steady pace and wrap up the rough draft by the end of the month.  Then it’s all just editing….ugh editing……

Just kidding.  I’m so joyful about this project that even the dreaded editing makes me say “I got this!”

I’ve gotten emails from several readers asking how #4 is doing with her arthritis.  She is doing extremely well!  Praise God!!!!!!!  She has no swelling or inflammation in any joints and no pain.  She does have some minor deformity of a couple of her joints, but not enough to slow her down in any way.  She is still on her drug cocktail, 2 shots a week, and will be for the foreseeable future.  We all dread “shot night”, but it’s a small price to pay for having our daughter return to us
