Saturday Shopping – For the Cook!

When I offered to post links to people’s online shops to help y’all get ideas for Christmas gifts, I was very explicit with my “don’t send me anything.” I didn’t want this to be a free goody grab for me, but a chance for my readers to find new things they love.

One of them didn’t listen, and I’m not upset at all.

Because hand-made French rolling pin!

I had an expensive French pin already (from Williams Sonoma), and love it for rolling out cookies or pies. This one is so much better. There is an undefinable feel to it that is deeply satisfying to heft in your hand. (At $20 it’s much nicer than the pricy one, and a great deal!)

The wooden turned ornaments which were tucked into the box are already a favorite with my husband, and we don’t even have a tree to hang them on yet.

There are cheese boards I think are gorgeous, and a cutting board I’m trying to justify.
