I can’t believe this day is here! I’ve been sitting on this news for months (which is a little uncomfortable – just FYI,) but AT LAST I get to tell you…

Sister Patricia is now at Patheos!!!!!!!!!

That’s right, everyone’s favorite post-modern pre-traditional omni-spiritual Domenican sister has finally convinced her blogging cohort, LarryD, to bow to the inevitable pressure and join the Blorg.

For those of you who’ve never wandered along the labyrinth with Sr Pat, you’re in for a treat as she brings the best in her own interesting blend of spirituality to cleanse the aura and calm the vibrations of the Patheos Catholic Channel.

As for LarryD? He’s alright if you go for that whole hilarious, satirical, snarky, thoughtful, faithfully Catholic kind of thing. He’s not so much St Philip Neri as he is his little fat farting dog (only not so fat because he started CrossFit last year. I kinda talked him into it. You’re welcome, Larry.)

LarryD is the husband of the way-out-of-his-league Mrs LarryD and two sons who are lucky enough to take after their mother. Larry’s an award-winning blogger with a loyal following (Hi, Terry.) He’s written for Ignitum Today, is a prolific tweeter, and is trying to single-handedly preserve the sense of humor in his own little corner of the Catholic blogosphere.  (He’s also beaten me 136-1 in Ruzzle, but we don’t talk about that.) Plus he’s kinda my blogging BFF, that’s why I get to introduce him to you. (Squeeee!)

I’m so delighted that he and Sr P have decided to move on over to Patheos. Now we can not only be neighbors, but his writing can be introduced to a whole new audience of readers, a few of whom could use a couple of laughs.
