A pretty rough week
But finally at an end
Contentment returns

Dear husband, children
Each one a piece of my heart
Fortunately mine!

Giddy, dancing girls
Hopping boys bounce off of walls
I love the chaos

Jesting, teasing man
Kind patient…funny as hell
Laughter in my life

My life’s companion
Necessary as breathing
O‘ how I love him

Precocious children
Quiet life for us? No Sir!
Raucous revelry

Studies put away
Tired of school, it’s time for fun
Until September

Victorious me!
We are almost at the end
X is the hard one
