I wish all readers of this blog a very happy start to 2018!
And to you, too, James. Thanks for the great blog!
I hope James knows how much the vast majority of us appreciate the yeoman’s work he does here of running this blog. This is especially true given the baseless slander he has to take from certain atheists and fundamentalists from around the Blogosphere. For instance, regarding Dr. McGrath, Tim Widowfield, who runs Vridar along with Neil Godfrey, recently wrote in a comment to a post that:
“McGrath, too, is not so much a liar as a knee-jerk protector of the status quo. He, too, has extremely narrow abilities, and is easily stung when it’s pointed out to him. He could be more charitable, though. After all, he’s parlayed his marginal competence into a pretty good gig.” see the comment section of Godfrey’s blog post here: https://vridar.org/2017/12/22/is-there-anything-good-to-be-said-about-richard-carrier/
As if Dr. McGrath could have attained a full professorship at an accredited secular university if he only had “extremely narrow abilities” and “marginal competence,” lol.
Anyway, kudos for James for the job he does!
I also appreciate the acknowledgement that he isn’t a liar. That’s something.
You’re very kind!
I second that emotion!
Wishing you a great new year, nice videos and music from Alex and cool pictures from the Transylvania, Romania tour!
thanks, happy new year to you too
The conversation on the religious forums follows the identical structure as the motorcycle forum. Harley Davidsons are way better. no I love my BMW, no that’s German, no this and that. It’s all interpretive nonsense.
