Waiting in expectation does not always get easier with age. With youthful hopes and dreams seemingly unfulfilled, we can become cynical or self-satisfied. As we mature in God we should be able to wait with even greater patience and ever-increasing expectation. It is knowing God’s immeasurable favor through Christ, and seeing the Kingdom, the power, and the glory of God continuing to expand in us and all around us.
