You guys know I love my dogs.

They aren’t just amazing pets, they can also be life savers.

Here are four heroic dogs who saved their human’s lives.

1. Have paw, break glass

A dog’s owner was suffering an unknown medical emergency and was unconscious on the floor for several days. At some point, two ladies came walking by the front of the house when they heard glass break and a dog bark loudly. They immediately dialed 9-1-1 to alert the police.

As officers entered the home, they saw the woman still lying on the floor and ordered her transported to the hospital. Then they noticed something peculiar: the dog had an injured paw.

“We believe that the dog inside the home heard the two women talking as they walked past the home and broke the glass with its paws in an attempt to get their attention, which led to their owner being rescued,” the police concluded.
