Tuesday’s question

Tuesday’s question

The Family Steering Committee of the 9/11 Independent Commission would like to ask President Bush:

In your opinion, why was our nation so utterly unprepared for an attack on our own soil?

I'm repeating their questions because, again, they won't have a chance to ask these questions themselves. President Bush does not regard himself as accountable to the Family Steering Committee. (The first eight words of that sentence could probably stand alone.)

The president has agreed to meet with the co-chairs of the 9/11 investigation, in private and for just one hour. UggaBugga provides a convenient graphic demonstrating the priority this level of accountability suggests.
