3. She said her Dad wants to be judged by results not promises
After 8 years of promises, this is the one I really liked. Remember when her dad said he would take care of the oceans’ tides? Oh and that he’d usher in an era of racial healing? That’s been great, hasn’t it?
She said:
My fathers values talents. He recognizes real knowledge and skill will when he finds it. He is colorblind and gender-neutral. He hires the best person for the job, period. Words and promises, no matter how visionary they sound, will only get you so far. In our business, you’re not a builder unless you’ve got a building to show for it. Or, in my father’s case, city skylines.
