Petition grows to nearly 50,000 to fire professor who accosted Ivanka Trump on a plane

Remember the dirtbags who bullied Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight out of JFK? Well, a young conservative group has launched a petition to get one of them, who is a professor at a New York college, fired.

Matt Lasner and Brooklyn lawyer Dan Goldstein are the gay couple who bragged online about harassing Ivanka who was traveling in coach with her husband and children in tow. They screamed that Donald Trump is “ruining” the country. They were also very upset they had to share a plane with the likes of her: “Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private!” they jeered.

Lasner had tweeted before the flight: “Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil.”

Of course, they had NOTHING to say later when TMZ cameras confronted them. These cowardly actions, including Lasner’s defense that they expressed “displeasure in a calm tone,” have made these two pariahs to most of society.

Lasner is a professor of urban studies and planning at Hunter College and that gave Right Wing Millennials a reason to start a petition to have him fired from his job. RWM says it’s “dedicated to TAKING ACTION when it comes to social and political issues during these turbulent times!” The group says it’s tired of the “Safe Spaces” and “Trigger Warning” brainwashing so many millennials experience at college and blamed professors like Lasner who foster the same social justice attitudes he displayed on the flight: “It’s largely because of professors like Mr. Lasner who encourage this type of behavior and mindset.”

So, they started the petition at Change.org, stating:

Matt Lasner’s conduct is a direct representation of Hunter College. We believe his immature and cruel harassment of Ivanka Trump and her family at JFK airport should be met with disciplinary action. The fact that someone who would be involved in such conduct is teaching students is very troubling. We are petitioning that Hunter College take ACTION. Someone like Mr. Lasner, who would harass a mother and her child simply trying to go about their day, does not deserve the honor of teaching. The fact that he tried to cover up and change the story around to avoid the consequences of his actions is also a testament to his character. He is NOT a good example for our youth.

Signatures soared past the group’s initial goal of 35,000 and are now well on the way to surpassing 50,000 signers and beyond, thanks to outlets like Fox News and The Blaze picking up on the story.

I’m not sure the petition will make Hunter College do as it says, but hopefully, it sends a clear message that we’re all tired of this “tolerant” liberal mentality that is dividing this country in ways we haven’t seen in decades.
