Payal Modi, an art teacher at Dallas’s Adamson High School, was not too happy about Donald J. Trump taking the oath of office, and she wanted her students to know it. How did she explain this to the children? By asking questions about the government? By teaching more about the American values she cherishes?
Um… not quite.
Instead, she projected an image of Trump on her wall and pretended to shoot the image with a water pistol.
“Die! Die! Die!” she screamed.
Yeah, that’s not weird at all.
The video was made public when the teacher posted the video on Instagram. When viewers started questioning the professionalism of such an act, the account was made private. On Thursday, the Dallas school district put her on administrative leave while this is investigated.
