What’s worse than hearing about your dad’s sex scandal with a young intern in the White House? Seeing Abraham Lincoln wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, apparently.
Chelsea Clinton was on Twitter and saw someone post the dinner program for an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago that featured an image of Lincoln with a red MAGA hat superimposed on his head.
Bill and Hillary’s daughter wasn’t quite sure what to make of it and sent out this odd tweet:
Please tell me this is photoshopped. Please? https://t.co/WezDQx6IvT

That was a mistake, because as anyone who has spent any time on the Internet, saying anything makes you a target to trolls that are just waiting to pounce. And, boy, did they:
No, Lincoln actually wore that hat in 1865; it was found at Ford's Theater. https://t.co/SblPYHNnf0

I remember this photo was taken at the 1856 Republican National Convention and. is real.
— Sir Michael Hfuhruhurr MP, OBJ, BFC, FYI,
Lincoln just got off his unicorn and just when the Bosnian sniper fire started, he put the hat on.
