Artistic Attempts

With all these artsy people around me lately I’ve been feeling rather inspired.  Or, maybe it’s just that I am desperate to get some art up on the walls in our house as I think “we just moved in” is getting to be a lamer and lamer excuse for white walls the further we get from when we actually moved in (February . . . ).

I saw a project like this on HGTV and, with the opinions of everyone in my family, carefully taped off three canvases and painted them.  Not too bad, if I do say so myself, but I think for right now I’m sticking with my day job.
