Time to retreat

Spent an hour and a half at Adoration today and realized that I have been reading too much news and blogging too much. Way, way too much! It’s taking its toll on me!

While my hubby and son are away at scouting camp, I think it’s a good idea for me to book a room at the local retreat house (or at the local beach, if I can get one) and spend some time in quiet – without the computer.

In my bag, I have a couple of edifying books – one on Bl. Elizabeth of the Trinity (one of my favorites, she writes about divine love like no one I have ever read) and my breviary and a few other helpful books.

To the woods or to the beach…whichever place has a room, that’s where I am going. See ya in a day…two if I can manage it!
