Something more to the story

Some of you might remember that last month I revealed that I seem to be losing my hearing.

We’ve had some serious fun with it. My family now can’t tell if I am simply ignoring them or really can’t hear them, which I’m kind of enjoying.

Today some test results indicate that perhaps the hearing loss is not an event unto itself, but part of something else…what that might be is still undetermined…I have a veritable smorgasboard before me of what it all “could be…” None of the “could be’s” sound like fun.

Somewhere down the road there is an MRI of my brain and spinal cord in my future (have I ever mentioned I am claustrophobic?) and then we’ll know more. Until then, I’m just going to leave it all up to God – I have other stuff to worry about. But stay tuned. Fasten your seatbelts; it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!
