I love winter and snow, but I hate ice and these cold temps are a little wearying, so I am perusing a seed catalogue and imagining the warm sun on my face and my fingers in the freshly turned soil…I want wildflowers in my backyard, and daisies and daylillies…and the game to begin.

I also want need a new coffeemaker. Here I am drinking what is unquestionably the greatest coffee in the world, with a coffeemaker that’s kaput. Someone just bought this coffee maker from Amazon. A little pricey for me, but I’d love to know what you think of it (whoever you are) before I fall back on my usual cheapo one. If someone can convince me that a more expensive machine brews a better cup, I want to believe! And I want to sit in a field of flowers with a cup of Mystic Monk Hazelnut and be warm!
