Happy Birthday, Reverend Mister

Every stinking year, I wish Deacon Greg Kandra a “Happy Birthday,” on June 6th.

And every stinking year, he kindly informs me, “thank you, my birthday is on the 8th.”

And every stinking year, when June 8th rolls around, I forget to wish him a Happy Birthday.

I usually remember again on the 9th, because that’s Buster’s birthday, and as I wrap his gift I think, “oh, no! Greg’s birthday!”

This year, Max Lindenman — who has only just arrived on the scene — manages to remember the Deacon’s birthday and to wish him well with a Little Rascals video.
