Jadon has passed away…

Last month I put up a prayer request for 13 year-old Jadon, and Baby Michael David.

Jadon, who had leukemia, developed a systemic infection after two rounds of chemo, and was in severe crisis, with kidneys shutting down; his situation was very grave.

Happily, the newborn has pulled through, but last night I learned that Jadon — who fought manfully for six weeks, and even a few days ago was trying to respond to the people around him — has passed away.

Please pray for the repose of his soul, and for his parents thank your readers for their prayers for Jadon, and for his parents, Martha and Jason, little sister Elizabeth, his grandparents, family, friends, and for Reader Karen who has been keep us updated, and who lost her father a few days ago.

Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, Amen. And may the angels lead them into paradise and bring consolation to those left behind.
