Temporarily Closing Comments for Adjustment

Regular readers know I have, for some time, now, set my comboxes to close after a few days.

For some reason, with our new situation, once comments are closed, all of the comments are vanishing.

People put a lot of thought and effort into their comments — most of the time — and it seems to me I shouldn’t be putting out a combox at all if your comments are going to vanish. So, until such time as we figure out the issue, the comboxes will be closed. Hopefully a day or so. Thanks for bearing with me.
