Stuff to look at 2017-03-15T18:38:57+00:00

Couple things going on here; seems we’re going to have some minor programming changes at the site which will will hopefully make the comments section more to everyone’s liking and make my life easier on the writing end, but that may necessitate me shutting up for a little while. Also, we have yet another “big family event” going on this weekend. As I twittered the other day, I am the most inherently inhospitable person in the world, and yet it seems I am forever entertaining. This one, I can’t wait to get over with, for a variety of reasons, but the various running-around and detail seeing-to will be to the programmer’s advantage, as blogging will be light, anyway.

That said, let me draw your attention to some pretty impressive stuff you may like.

First up, do you recall a few months ago my talking up New Evangelization Television (NET-TV), home of In the Arena and a bunch of other great Catholic programming?

Well our pal Deacon Greg Kandra (in his capacity as News Director) has been putting together the nightly news broadcast (cleverly called “Currents”) which is about to be launched, and if the promo is any indication, the show looks to be provocative, informative and yes, “Current.” Take a look.

Also, Glenn Reynolds is launching his Instavision at Pajamas Media, and that’s also something worth checking out.

I have go do running around things, now, and that’s too bad because I really do want to read up on the question of whether or not the Obama government is targeting businesses run by Republicans.

It’s a big question and the press is pretty much ignoring. Are you surprised? Bond market is crashing, the country is bankrupted, businesses look like they’re being harassed and oh,yeah, Obama is still floating the idea of being able to close down the internet for “national emergencies” without having to actually define the emergency.

How do you like all this hope-and-change in the America that this president is convinced needs “remaking?”

I’m going to go work on our party. Might be the last one we have for a while, after all.
