Peter Jennings near death?

Supposedly ABC has scheduled a presser for 2PM.

Losing a loved one is difficult enough when your loved one is a private and anonymous sort of person. Living through all of this while having to be mindful of public notification, while having to deal with the press – it has to be extraordinarily difficult. My prayers are with his family.
