Some blogs and articles I wanted to direct youse guys to:

Dave Justus has not one but two really good pieces up here about oil shale and here about why we must stay in Iraq. I don’t link to Dave enough – he’s a good guy.

Like Theodore Darlrymple? Don’t know who he is? Well, he’s just GREAT – a prison doctor who packs enormous common sense and intelligence into everything he writes and Jamie Glazov got to interview him. We get to enjoy it.

Troubling blog post of the day: A long while back I wondered if the Democrats, feeling defeated and needing to hate others in order to feel powerful and inspired, were not channeling some behavior we last saw in Berlin, circa…oh, about 1931. I was castigated severely for wondering about it. Now, Kellipundit points us to a chilling report that makes me wonder about it some more. Reading the report…well, it’s a brilliant read but not an easy or relaxing one.

Curt Jester votes for St. Jerome as patron of Internet bloggers. I love it!

Gays in Seminaries: I haven’t written about it because it just hasn’t rung my bell yet – I’m sure it will, soon – meanwhile Closed Cafeterial has few thoughts on it.

Speaking of gay, Hugh Hewitt has an interesting piece on why the media did not much talk about California’s Gay Marriage bill.

Ted Kennedy can’t stop himself – he’ll work for the unions even when it’s not in the best interest of the children. And, as Amy says – when it is senseless. Roman Catholic Blog is writin’ about it, too.

Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer – Chuck SCHUMER – seems to have a staffer on hand who doesn’t mind playing dirty. Just the staffer, right? ;-)

Hey, was Tim McVeigh – one of the most quickly-executed folks ever to grace death row – actually working with Islamofascist Terrorists? Is the Able Danger coverup connected? Tapscott is wondering. He includes a long take by Jayna Davis.

By the waters of Babylon – Sigmund Carl and Alfred wonder at the weeping and seem to understand it.

Bush’s fault: Democrat pol in Louisiana said, that’s fine, you can just leave those relief supplies with me!

More Bush’s fault. Yes, it’s satire.
