Blegging a gift idea…

It’s been fun to give folks some ideas for Christmas shopping the last few years, but now I’m stuck and could use some suggestions.

Here’s the deal – last year I got some of my little nieces and nephews these terrific DVD’s put out by the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist through their EWTN series, Truth In the Heart. You can see little glimpses of the videos on this page.

Anyhow, I’m going to buy relevant “Season 2’s” for relevant ages, but since the kids tend to pass them around, I still need a few gifts for girls ages 7 and 9, and I’m totally stymied. I’m usually the auntie who brings books and religion, so they know not to expect pop/trendy stuff, but I’d also like to do something different. I bought one of those loom things for the 12 year old so she can make scarves and such, but the 9 year old is a tomboy and the 7 year old is just hell on wheels…in a good way…but I haven’t a clue what to get in the $30.00 range for each of them.

Any ideas?
