Podcast: Gospel of Luke Nativity Story

It’s Christmas Eve!

In the wee small hours of the morning, after many hours of baking, I decided to make a podcast of the Nativity narrative via the Gospel of Luke. Perhaps some would like to have a listen while wrapping, baking, or whatever.

I used the New American translation – not my favorite, but it’s the one I had on hand. Still, this has been such a wonderful Advent that even with the less-than-lyrical translation, I actually welled up a few times while reading. I don’t think you can hear it, but the preparation we’ve done all through Advent really affected me. In a good way!
