host and nominee…

… after much consideration and even more email complaints, I will not be including myself in next year’s Blog Awards. It is too late to withdrawal myself at this point, but I have taken every one’s opinion into consideration and I thank you for taking the time to contact me. Valid points were made, but I assure you that I have not voted for myself or even nominated myself in any category. In fact I have refrained from making any nominations or votes for fear of being preferential. Yes, I do realize if I win in a certain category that is cause for suspicion.

I would; however, like to remind every one of the light hearted manner and self deprecating humor that these Blog Awards are intended to be. I just want every one to have fun and discover some new blogs or check out some old favorites who don’t normally get any special recognition or wide readership in the sea of power Catholic bloggers.
