… Gospel music is so underrated. Especially Southern Gospel. Some of that older stuff, stuff my gran and I used to listen to was like a Flannery story set to music.
Her birthday just passed. She would have been 91 years old. She was a simple Southern girl with faith as earnest as the music she listened to. I was named after her, you know. Lord I miss her.
