There’s such a thing as a writing selfie? Who knew…

… Rebecca Hamilton tagged me in a thing called a writing selfie. Basically you talk about yourself. I hate talking about myself. I much prefer to talk about other people.

But I’ll give it a shot because I’m a giver.

1. What are you working on?

Aside from this box-o-wine?

A post for Patheos’s fifth birthday and a really strange video, since I’ve finally mastered how to make one using the video app in Windows 8.

A post for Mother’s Day, something scathing about the newest trend in parenting — normalizing single motherhood. A fat post. And another one about finding God in the most unlikely of places. Oh, and a book. I started writing a book. It’s sort of autobiographical but since I’m not dead yet I’m stuck on the ending.

2. What makes your work different from others’ work in the same genre?

Grammatical errors. Gifs. Colorful language. Pick one.

3. Why do you write what you write?

I write what I know cause if I didn’t I would sound even more stupider.

4. How does your writing process work?

I think about something. I can’t decide how I feel about it so I think about it some more. Then I write about it because it completes the thought process.
