… funny how common sense becomes obvious when money necessitates. For years I have said that welfare recipients need to be periodically drug screened, now it looks like it will be a reality. Of course the “civil liberties” advocates are up in arms.

Replace the words “financial aid” with “employment” and see how asinine their PC rhetoric is. This argument holds no weight when you consider that most people applying for a job have to submit to drug screening.

Now if we could just stop increasing welfare benefits for woman who keep having children while on government subsidies. That should nip that right in the bud.

The real reason the civil liberties groups are distressed is because they now have to scramble for alternatives to buy the poor populations votes.
