Roger, We Will Miss You

Roger, We Will Miss You 2015-03-10T10:02:54-07:00

Roger Ebert died today. He was 70.

I will miss him and I am grateful to have crossed paths with him along the way.

From a piece I wrote about Roger and his memoir Life Itself a few years ago:

“To make others less happy is a crime. To make ourselves unhappy is where all crime starts,” Ebert said. “We must try to contribute joy to the world. That is true no matter what our problems, our health, our circumstances. We must try…I didn’t always know this and am happy I lived long enough to find it out.”
